Europe 2026, Day 7: Liverpool Stadium Tours

31-March-2026

Today we’re heading off to the city of Liverpool to visit Anfield stadium, which is about an hour’s drive from Manchester.

Note – This is a part of a 12 Day Blog relating to my friend group’s trip around Europe and primarily the UK. See here

After breakfast at the Quays Café, we departed Manchester and drove towards Liverpool. When we arrived in the city of Liverpool, first thing I noticed is the place gives off a different vibe, like it’s more laid back as compared to Manchester. Upon arriving at Anfield stadium, we made our way to the entrance.

Anfield Stadium!

We got the tickets and collected our devices and earpiece as this is a self-guided tour.

Once we were allowed to enter, we were guided to the top floor via escalators where we slowly made our way down. First stop, entrance to the stadium where we have a stunning view of Anfield in all it’s glory!

Continuing our journey, we went pass various exhibits. There are also some activity corners for kids.

We walked pass the Carlsberg lounge, through the press conference area and into the player’s dressing room.

Finale of the tour is walking through the tunnel and onto the pitch.

After the tour, we went to the LFC store to buy some stuffs and had some bites at the Kop Bar. Surprisingly it was pretty crowded in the bar. KT is particularly impressed with the serviette they provides. 😂

After meal break, we went to the museum. And yes, they have a trophy room!

After museum tour, we walked around the area surrounding the stadium.

Since Goodison park is nearby, we decided to head towards there. However upon arrival we found out Everton has moved to Hill Dickinson Stadium. Nevertheless, we took a wefie there for keepsake.

We than drove to Hill Dickinson Stadium, not realizing there’s a match between Ivory Coast and Scotland later, we were charged £15 for parking once we drove into the parking area. 😤😤 Since there’s no refund, we walked to the new stadium to see see look look.

There’re food trucks in the stadium area for the match later but when CK and me went to the beer vending machine, a guy told us it’s not in operation yet. No luck with Everton. 😤😤

With Liverpool concluded, we drove back to Manchester and had our dinner/drinks at MatchStick Man. Next destination, London!
