Europe 2026, Day 9: London Stadium Tours

02-April-2026

The plan for today is to visit Emirates Stadium, Arsenal football club and Stamford Bridge Stadium, Chelsea football club.

Note – This is a part of a 12 Day Blog relating to my friend group’s trip around Europe and primarily the UK. See here

After walking up, we found a nice breakfast place near our AirBnB and had our breakfast there.

Post brekky we took a slow walk to Emirates Stadium. Noticed there’s many pubs along the way; one even named Arsenal! First impression I had when we arrived is the stadium looks very grand from outside, check out the pictures.

Actually CK went for the Arsenal stadium tour before, it’s actually more for us 3 who had never been to it. We bought the tickets and proceeded into the tour. The Arsenal tour is similar to the Liverpool one where it’s actually self guided, so we were handed mini devices once more.

Once we reached the stands, the view of the whole stadium is very impressive, just look at the photo and the video.

Impressive

CK is next in line after Arteta😁😁

The tour was quite short to be honest, shortest tour out of all the stadiums tours I think. Also the cafe/pub is not opened to public, only hospitality packages only, so we could not taste the Asahi at Arsenal.😭😭 Cant recall why we didn’t visit the Arsenal museum tho. After the tour we went to the Armory (Arsenal’s shop) where CK bought his stuffs. Before we left CK brought us to the legendary statue of Thierry Henry!

We walked back to our AirBnB thereafter so CK can put away his loot from the Armory before we proceeded to our next destination, Stamford Bridge!

So Stamford Bridge was quite far from our AirBnB so need to take an hour’s Uber ride there. Also we have to walk abit to find the actual entrance to the stadium.

We walked to the back where the museum is located and bought the tickets. So Chelsea’s stadium tour is a guided one (which we prefer), so there’s a guide explaining to us as we move along. I think Chelsea’s stadium tour is pretty well organized. When we entered the stands, we noticed the stadium does not appear as large as others, the guide explained that there’s height restriction so they can’t expand much. (cannot block the city skyline or something)

We were then led to the conference room where they announced their new manager, JX. πŸ˜‚

We were led to the dressing rooms of away + home teams. The away dressing room contains the shirts of other great players that has played in this stadium before. The home team dressing room looks nice as well.

We then entered the pitch via the tunnel for more photos.

After the tour, we visited the museum (yes they have a trophy cabinet!), followed by lunch/beers at the Frank’s Sport Bar, located within the stadium grounds.

This marks the end of the stadium tours. After lunch we took the tube back to London Chinatown, where we visited Genting Casino.

While the boys are at it, I decided to step out for a smoke. Just behind Genting Casino I saw the crowd drinking standing on the streets at The Coach & Horses, Soho.

So I went in, queued up to get a pint of Guinness and did the same, standing on the street sipping on my Guinness. 😁😁

After the boys are done, we went to Baaria – Italian CafΓ©, Wine and Cocktail Bar for our next round of drinks. This time we decided to sit outdoors again. πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά

KT had a great time here with the male waiter. 😍😍

We took the tube back to Holloway Road and went to Islington Sports Bar & Grill for another round of drinks before going back to rest for the day.
