Today we’re crossing over to Manchester, UK. The plan is to fly over since it’s a 1+hr journey.
Note – This is a part of a 12 Day Blog relating to my friend group’s trip around Europe and primarily the UK. See here
Checked out of hotel in the morning and Uber’ed to Schiphol airport.

After clearing security, walked around the departure lounge and we had lunch before starting our beer session again. 🤣

It was a short flight (1hr+), compared to what we endured to get here (13hrs+). Upon reaching, we found we need to take a bus to get to the car rental area. After getting off the bus and lighting a cigarette, I found that I left my backpack on the bus! Thus, I fanatically approached the other bus driver for help, and he managed to comms back to the other bus driver to deliver my backpack back to me. How lucky!
After CK and KT sort out the paperwork for the rental car while JX and I waited for my backpack, we finally got our rental car: a Volkswagen Multivan. We loaded our luggage on board and drove straight to our AirBnB.

We then headed to Chinatown for dinner. The Chinatown in Manchester is not large, just 2-3 streets at most. We found a Thai eatery where most of us ate rice dishes after much craving for Asian food. 😂
Post dinner we explored Chinatown before heading back to rest. Next day we’ll kick start the main objective, stadium tours!
