Mae Hon Soon Loop: Day 4

Day 4: MHS -> Ban Rak Thai -> Soppong
Breakfast at resort
they forgot to remove the rock before building the restaurant.. no wait, its a eco resort, even the rock must not be harmed!!
see? left side of the hut there’s also a natural rock jutting out of the pavement. (No rocks are harmed in the construction of this resort)
ok remembered its Fern Resort
Cannot cut the trees, any path for hotel guests must be built around it. lol
OK first stop, go MHS town to get “Certified”
Similar to any well-established educational institute, you have to pay tuition fees and voila, I got the certification from MHS Governor!
Before leaving town, go to a Wat (can see the airport runway).

Its near the border, highlight of this village is the lake (like mirror).
Understand its inhabitants are chinese, (remants of Kuo Ming Tang when they fled China and settled down here)
The buildings in this town is “Chinese” (Yun Nan style)
We had lunch here (ordered too much)
See the clouds reflected ?
We soldiered ahead…
Along the route we stopped somewhere (showing the various ‘nature reserves/parks’ etc
Cant rem where this is taken
Reached Soppong! Little Eden guesthouse (its by river!)
Theres a mini bridge to cross the river (freaking narrow). Chris dont dare to do it haha
So i go and ask her to take this pic for me
had our dinner in the resort as the town is small and called it a day
Good place to stay for the night
