Our ( Rainy ) day at Thomson Nature Park

Hello and welcome back to the blog, sorry for the lack of uploads but now we are here, so lets start

BUS RIDE TIME….,.yay

oops

Yeah.. seems like we got off early, time to walk now. I guess its warm up?

here we are…

Made it, after walking past a little army camp site and crossing a road, we had made it to the entrance. Lets go.

Into the forest
Log stairs…. Fancy

After walking for not long, we were met with something i did not expect coming into this nature park…… ruins

ruins…. cool?

Actually, not just some random ruins lying around, this seems to be actually a functioning house last time. We think this as right next to the house, we saw a well. Hmmmmm, i water source i guess……

blurry…..

rain…

And of course, after a little while, it started raining.JUST OUR LUCK………

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

After a little while, we decided that we did not just come here to wait for the rain soooooo, we decided to finally get a move on.

Umbrella time….

So, after a little while, we had finally reached a slightly bigger shelter and just in time too, the rain just got BIGGER.

back to adventure

AFTER 20 MINUTES!!! yeah 20 minutes. The rain had finally ceased and we were back on the road again. Before long, we had reached more ruins… Again…..

A chair….

hmmmmm…. This gonna be a trend, we will see i guess.

After a little while, we were walking through a tree arch ( yeah, thats common now ) I suddenly saw something right in front of my face….

oooooh, vines…..

Nice, guess that adds to the nature vibe..

Before long, we had realized that there was a slope before us and we would have to walk through its steep decline. But that was not the thing that interested me, this was

It had seemed that this used to be a road that people would walk down but as you can see, there was just a slight hole in the middle. What was that about??

Well, we couldnt figure that out but i had another thing on my hands..

wait, clams…..

This then confirmed my suspicions, people must have lived here…. OH YEAH, and a few signs saying that too soooooooo

After a little while, i had thought that this might have been almost, yes almost, better than Chestnut…..

NOICE

See this was not in chestnut……

Before long, we were met with some more ruins, but this one was way more…….. seeable

hmmmmm

Here is some exposition, we had taken the streams and ferns trail but after walking for 20 minutes, NO STREAM. But finally, we found it, a stream…..

YESS

a village???

after a little while, we were met with bricks, wait, WHAT

Hmm, i guess there was a hole and they filled it with bricks, i think….

oooooh, a house, a side of a house actually

This was not even the biggest piece of evidence saying this once was a village and we are walking on a road where cars used to cross. If you are not convinced, see this

A ROAD SIGN….
OH, and read this for some slight exposition on the village

So, it started raining again. We were met with a junction, if i remember the map, i said that one way lead to the outside and one way lead to shelter…..

nearing the end

We had decided to go to the shelter and wait for the rain to fully stop before we decided to leave, but before long, we were back on the road again….

Tall tree

Walking for another 10 minutes, we were finally met with another stream and we decided to take some pictures

noice

Before long, we already had more evidence that we were walking on an actual road ( if we already did not have enough )

JLN in full form is Jalan if your wondering

Another thing, we found something else…. TALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

haaaa

After another 20 minutes, we had FINALLY made it out of the park. In the world

CIVILIZATION!!!!

review time

Well, i guess this is the end of my post for today review time!!

So, my final rating would be….. 9.5/10!!! All around one of my favorite nature parks. I really liked the fact that the entire nature park was actually centered around a place that used to be a village and i also liked how you could connect it altogether with just reading some signboards

All around i think its is great as it had adventure, mystery and discovery about the village around the nature park. Kudos

SO, this will be the end of my post for today, a very long one but a journey nonetheless, GOODBYE…
