Soo, a while ago, we got gifted two gold class golden village tickets. These would allow for leather seat recliners and meals served to your seat! Jurassic World Dominion was coming out in a few weeks, so my dad and I decided to use our tickets on that. I’ve always been a dinosaur and JW fan so it seemed right. Here I’ll be talking about the experience at gold class and the movie itself
Gold Class!
Skipping past the booking stage, which was admittedly a bit confusing, we chose to go to Gold Class Vivocity as only limited GV outlets provided Gold Class services. On the Sunday of that week, we arrived at VivoCity GV
Vivocity’s Golden Village was HUGE, and it took a while to realise that the hall for Gold Class was upstairs. During our booking, we also bought some truffle fries to eat during the movie. After searching around, we were able to register our tickets and went to wait at the Gold Class lounge.
The gold class lounge had seats for us to wait around in, quite comfortable. Once the movie hall opened, we put on our jackets and headed inside.

I was stunned when i entered, the hall wasn’t as big as a normal one because they used recliners. The space between the seats were plentiful and once I reclined the chair, I really started getting comfortable. The chair could recline to a full on bed, they even provided comfy blankets! After figuring out they were blankets, I ditched the idea of wearing my jacket.
As you can see, next to the chair was a table, where they had already provided cookies! Our food, consisting of lemon tea, truffle fries and beer, were soon served.
No picture of the truffle fries, but rest assured they were great! The sound quality in the theatre was great and the screen was huge. We haven’t been to the theatre in a while, so the volume of the movie surprised me at first, but i got used to it.
I felt comfortable the entire movie, and the snacks were enough to last us the entire movie, so were the drinks! Now, about the movie….
My opinion about Jurassic World Dominion
Now if you’ve heard anything about the movie, you’ll know that, a lot of people hate it. The movie isn’t the greatest, far from it. I personally enjoyed the OG Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom more. Contrary to what other people think though, I don’t think its THAT bad. Yes the movie is kinda confusing, yes its kinda brainless, yes its two storylines cobbled together pretty horribly and yeah, it uses nostalgia instead of making a structured ending to the franchise, but hear me out.
The movie is horrible, agreed, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t fun. I hardly kept up and the logic was bad, but as a die-hard dino fan, I still found it fun to watch dinosaurs running around. If there’s one thing this movie has, its dinosaurs, and not a lack of them. The digital effects are amazing, the action scenes are satisfying, and the return of the cast of Jurassic Park was pretty cool to see. A lot of people don’t enjoy it, but if you’re a huge fan of Jurassic World and dinosaurs, maybe it won’t be that bad as people say
Though a horrible conclusion to the franchise, which could arguably be done better, I liked it! If you think I’m being harsh, I’m being far from it. All I can say is I’m not qualified to convince anyone about anything, I’m no critic, just providing my opinion. If anything, I suggest you read the reviews of said movie, and don’t rely on my opinion.
