Day 3, we make our way to the train station for the journey to Amsterdam.
Note – This is a part of a 12 Day Blog relating to my friend group’s trip around Europe and primarily the UK. See here

Train station is simply magnificent, as we have some time to spare after checking which platform to board, we had a simple brunch with beers.
Note: toilet costs EUR 1.50 per entry here. 😂
After that we simply boarded the train and went to our assigned seats, there’s no barrier or anyone that checks your ticket at the platform.

We took the ICE 126 (Frankfurt (M) Hbf to Amsterdam Centraal) which is a 4 hours ride. The train is very clean and comfortable, we also enjoyed the sights along the way. Also to note, there’s no place to smoke on the train as the stops along the way were just 1-5 mins and we didnt dare to risk it.

After a nice 4 hour ride on ICE 126, we arrived in Amsterdam Centraal! The train station is situated next to River IJ, which is very beautiful.
We took some photos of River IJ (plus some puffs) and took Uber to our hotel.

After checking into the hotel and took a short rest, we proceed to Amsterdam-Centrum, the city center of Amsterdam. We found a nice restaurant where I had some of the best steak of the trip.

Post dinner we walked along the busy street, soaking up the culture. We found a pub with a huge leopard mascot where we can watch the live match of Netherlands VS Norway international friendly match.
During our time there, there’s a young Caucasian chap that suddenly falls down hitting the back of his head onto the floor. We think it might be his first time smoking weed.
Fun fact: you can smoke weed but not cigarettes in the pubs. Weird.
We went back to rest after the match and beers, till next day.
