Experience at Gold Class GV (Jurassic World Dominion)

Soo, a while ago, we got gifted two gold class golden village tickets. These would allow for leather seat recliners and meals served to your seat! Jurassic World Dominion was coming out in a few weeks, so my dad and I decided to use our tickets on that. I’ve always been a dinosaur and JW fan so it seemed right. Here I’ll be talking about the experience at gold class and the movie itself

Solo motorcycle road trip on Northern Thailand: Part 1

I’ve always wanted to do the northern Thailand loop after completing MHS road trip some time back. I wished to ride up there from Singapore directly but it requires more time and currently I’ve sold off all my motorbikes. Luckily renting a bike in Chiang Mai is easy so there was no excuse. Also Thailand opened travel without the need for quarantine from May 2022 and I need to clear some leave from work; this happened to be the perfect opportunity to go.

Planning the route was challenging as google maps doesn’t allow for more than 10 waypoints in total. I also wanted to balance the distance rode each day, so it took a couple of iterations to somewhat decide on the below. Found this link to combine multiple waypoints for route planning: https://www.morethan10.com/home/en

Even after all that, the itinerary was not confirmed, thus I only booked for the Chiang Mai accommodation on the first day and reckoned I will play by ear for the rest of the trip, depending on where I was.

Route of the planned loop

After much research on the web, the trip will be roughly as follows;

Day 1: Chiang Mai -> Aruno Thai -> Doi Ang Khang -> Fang -> Chiang Rai

Day 2: Chiang Rai -> Mae Salong -> Doi Tung -> R 1149 -> Mae Sai -> Golden Triangle -> Chiang Khong -> Phu Chi Fa

Day 3: Phu Chi Fa -> Route 1148 -> Pua -> Bo Kluea (R1081) -> Nan

Day 4: Nan -> Lampang -> Chiang Mai

The weather recently

Random blog post here to just talk about the weather in Singapore, which has been real crazy lately. I’m not sure if its just in Yishun but its either been scorching hot or freezing cold. I went out on a cycling trip with my dad the other day and mid-way it just starting storming. Really shows you that either our country is just weird, or more likely climate change is hitting hard.

This article in the Straits Times shows that Singapore weather hit an all time high in April, outdated but still relevant news.

Article linked here: https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/environment/hottest-temperature-since-1983-recorded-in-spore-during-recent-weeks-of-warm-weather

Just wanted to write something about the weather, its been real weird for the past few weeks.

What we did over the Labour Day Holidays, PT 1 (Glamping May 1 2022)

It may be a bit overdue, but the time we spent during those few days were just too exciting. Here I will be recapping my families trip to Glamping at East Coast Park. Then a 3 day stay at Lexis Hibiscus, a hotel in Malaysia. I choose to only cover the glamping trip because I have WAY too many good things to say about Lexis. Let us begin.
